Re. the climate crisis, makes me wonder if a phenomenal (dangers to humans) or noemenal (some sort of un-disenchantment…) approach is more effective ? The former doesn’t seem to be working … but I don’t see as many appeals to the latter as I’d expect or hope for
I think I argued back in college that the increasing ferocity of the world pushing back against the human subject in the form of climate disasters could help re-enchant the world. Where I struggle here is how to do that without giving an inch to the fascists.
